Time for Mentals Books are a series of seven books. This book contains 28 units divided into four strands which parallel the activities found in the first 28 units of each Time for Maths Book. The seven book series treats mathematics in the context of everyday language with activities developed from the NSW Syllabus for the Australian Curriculum.

Activities in Number and Place Value, Patterns and Algebra, Measurement and Geometry as well as Statistics and Probability, aim to help develop understanding, fluency, reasoning and problem solving in mathematics.
