The Grammar Handbook 2 aims to:

1. introduce new elements of grammar

2. teach new spelling patterns systematically

3. develop dictionary and thesaurus skills

4. improve vocabulary and comprehension

5. reinforce the teaching in The Grammar Handbook 1

The Grammar Handbook 2 has a similar format to the first handbook with:

1. grammar, spelling and punctuation lessons, with a programme of two days per week over the year.

2. revision and extension of Jolly Phonics

3. photocopiable activities

4. actions for the grammar points
